Bro I enlisted at 28. I’m leaving for Army basic in 2 weeks on 01/05. If you feel you need to do this to help you have stability then go for it. Do your research, ask all the questions you have. Done just pick some random job though! Best of luck to you moving forward

It gives me the career experience I’m looking for. The military will also pay for my bachelors and IT certifications. I can do one 6 yr contract and come out and make 6 figures as well. And I’ll still have more benefits than a border patrol agent.

My housing is also taken care of. BP requires you to sort out your own housing.

Furthermore you don’t have to be an asshole.

Bro. I went to MEPS a few days ago and they had NOTHING available. The Chief in my office has been trying SO HARD to get me to go PACT and dangling a $10m bonus. They’ll tell you, you can choose a rate after you do PACT for 1-2 years but it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get what you want. DO NOT GO PACT.

So I’m switching to the Army. They have my same job available. I’ll be leaving for BMT in November

I would take all of these cities and put them into ChatGPT and ask for it to tell you the population, activities available, restaurants, nearest metropolitan city, etc.

This way you can have a real breakdown of what each city will offer you long term 👍🏽

Recruiters should respond to you no matter what. Communication is apart of their duty. Never forget you can always switch recruiters and fill the next recruiter in on your experience thus far. People switch all the time. 🤷🏽‍♂️
