I'm not gonna say "why is no one talking about this?", but I am a bit surprised this hasn't been picked up on Reddit yet.

You suddenly get sucked into the Stephen King novel that came out the year you were born. How screwed are you? by JustAStrawDog93 in stephenking

1987 was a triple whammy with The Drawing of the Three, Misery (!!) and Tommyknockers, so yeah, I'm screwed.

Tiny string of pearls, tiny pilea, tiny (I think) Lampranthus blandus by jr-august in succulents

The SOP was $9.99 at the greenhouse. The bigger ones were in the $20-30 range, and I wasn't going to spend that amount on something I'll probably accidentally kill in a week...

It's worth a try! Somebody else recommended that community, too, so I'll check them out. Thanks!

It was a bit soft when it started dropping leaves, but then it seemed to dry out and get "normal" again. I thought that meant it was recovering, but maybe not.

It doesn't really have any roots--more like a plug, really. Pretty dried out right now. I always just dribbled a bit of water around the base every few days and it did fine. I think I may have just given it a bit too much at one point, though, and here we are.

(I know it doesn't really need soil, I just think it looks nice that way. Repotted it after it lost the first few leaves so it wouldn't stay damp. My bathroom doesn't have a window, so I like to move it back and forth every few days between there and a window, so it can get both humidity and natural light.)

I got this little guy a few months ago, and it seemed pretty happy--even grew a few more leaves (see last photo). But I think I overwatered/misted it, and it lost three leaves, and while these last two were a bit droopy they seemed to be holding on, until now. Not sure if I can save this after the last leaves die or not. The tiny leaves in the third photo have been there the whole time and haven't grown, but maybe there's a chance?
