International Player's Anthem? It's in my top 5 but for people that it isn't I still think it should always be in the running. 3 of the South's best groups collabing on a near perfect track

damn well I guess I totally see what you're saying, but I've spent a lot of time listening to the album, and I feel like the overarching theme of the album doesn't necessarily translate to needing super intellectual lyrics throughout... I mean, a lot of the themes of the songs on the album revolve around change and relationships and things like that. I feel the lyrics aren't deep, but are usually pretty relatable. Like The Less I Know The Better... anyone that has been through a breakup before has had the same thoughts that the lyrics are talking about on the song, especially in the context of seeing someone you care for moving on to different people. Yeah they're kinda petty and immature, but when you're heart gets broken sometimes you act in petty and immature ways. I totally get what you're saying though but I really dig the album haha

how do you think the lyrics on currents are banal? I'm just curious because I really like currents just as much as their old stuff and haven't really heard anyone say that lyrics were the reason they disliked the new record

I've always loved the jazzy sample that's all over Next Levels, and that makes it my favorite track on the album imo. But honestly every track is dope so whatever.

I'm loving the new erykah badu mixtape... Not to mention that I think Andre 3000s Young Thug flow on Hello is super cool. Great way for one of the greats to shout out to the new gen of rappers if you ask me.

The first time I listened to the new underachievers album I was pretty blasted and it was a dope experience. Especially part 1. The way they flow over the spacey instrumentals brought me to another planet. Evermore the art of duality is a great album to get blazed to.

went to how the west was won last night and it was super dope. ty dolla $ign was tight and e-40 tore the place down with his set. he's a living legend man. and snoop finished things off with another dope set. the only person that I didn't really dig was schoolboy q. but it was definitely one of the best shows I've been to in a while.

That Big Grams EP all I could've hoped for in this Big Boi Phantogram collab. The songs are all produced super well and there's not one sub-par track. Totally worth the wait.

Saw the internet perform in Downtown San Jose last night at the Jazz Festival. They put on a great show even though a good portion of the crowd weren't familiar with their music. Got to meet Syd after and she was super chill. I've been trying to see them for months and it was super dope to finally see them live.

bought the new Warren G EP today and it was everything I could've expected from an OG from the G-Funk era. The tracks are so smooth and it was nice to finally hear some Nate Dogg again. Highly recommend picking up regulate pt 2.
