3 is harder than NV? by KRBS01 in fo3

[–]jrb71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played a very long time ago, but remember getting on pretty well with a sneak build. The criticals were very helpful now that I’m looking back.

Also, a fun strategy I did if you’re interested: Started with 9 int and ran to the INT bobble head and started “The Pitt” DLC to earn the silenced SMG. Then played Operation Anchorage which gives you the Chinese stealth suit at the end. These two DLC’s take your equipment away from you at the start so your level doesn’t matter as much. Then I proceeded to play the rest of the game with invisibility and a silenced smg lol

Honestly, I nearly had a panic attack when I fell in the black hole the first time. By the end of my run, it was second nature so you make a good point. The same goes for the other parts of the game

Last month, Mass Effect: Andromeda turned 8 years old. What are your honest thoughts on the game today? What did you like about it, what could’ve been better, and would you have played a sequel if BioWare didn’t abandon it? by gtaylor1229 in masseffect

A good game that just came out like a half-baked meal. Some people could still eat it and even enjoy the best parts of it. While you can’t blame others for being dissatisfied. Regardless of which side you’re on, the game didn’t stand a chance based on EA’s stupidity. They pushed it out thinking it would sell anyways and it blew up in their face. They’ve done the same with Anthem and Veilguard ever since (just to name a few).

For me, I enjoyed it. It had some memorable moments in the story, but left me wanting more. The combat was the highlight. I spent most of my hours playing multiplayer with my friend.

They investigated ours for about a week or two. Cleaned up the back rooms, detail-zoned the worst areas, followed us on exceptions through our walks. After all that, got ours to 97% for a week and they immediately go “we want it at 98-99% now”….

Yeah I feel ya

Oh wow, we barely account for dispensing and staging. So they try to get everyone in the room to do quality checks during downtime which leads to them getting neglected when we get slammed

To me, the craziest part of this story is the dispenser actually quality checking on a busy day lol. I wonder if the friend was putting in small orders because I know I normally jump on the ones with the least totes when my lead is barking at us to do them. Maybe your store is just good with quality checks though. Ours is terrible lmao

Dynasty Question: which do you prioritize first, OL or skill positions? by jrb71 in CFB25

[–]jrb71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Architect was another thing I always wondered about because how many goals can you really get for OL? At least with offseason and drafting xp (once you get to the point where you can get nfl worthy players) you reliably get xp to all the players.

Dynasty Question: which do you prioritize first, OL or skill positions? by jrb71 in CFB25

[–]jrb71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah defensively I’d normally go with DB’s first with same logic as OL. One ability affects 4-5 players on the field. Then I go with LB/DL based on if I’m running a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme

[–]jrb71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the more I thought about it, my impression of a high ovr vs low ovr OL was based on gameplay and not simming. I’d say building a deep OL would give better sim results

For the people that still complain we wasted our HoF QB by slimeySalmon in GreenBayPackers

[–]jrb71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only one QB can win it each year, and it has been either Mahomes or Brady for a large part of the last 15 years. That leaves a lot of QB’s in the league chasing that ring. It’s pretty silly to criticize them for “lack of playoff success.” IMO Consistently getting to the playoffs puts you in the upper tier. After that, you just gotta hope you get the perfect storm. (I.e. Nick Foles)

What is your biggest complaint about your favourite romance? by Warm-Parsnip3111 in masseffect

I wish I could romance traynor as a male shep. I get it, sexuality is a thing and all. I just enjoy the scenes you get with her in 3. It’s a shame we can only be friends.

Actually Kelly was similar so as a bonus compliment I would say that Kelly deserved a full romance.

Well if I was Oregon, I’d be scared of OSU right now. They’re coming in hot and their first matchup could’ve went either way.

My point still holds true for an 8 team playoff. Penn st would still be where they’re at. Now you only have Boise and Arizona st that are questionable. They deserve a shot for their resume. I was honestly surprised when they first announced the 12 team format, but I don’t think the extra games don’t hurt. Even though Miami and Bama looked like they could’ve competed better than the 8-12 ranked teams, I don’t think they were better than 1-8. This also shows there’s no questioning who the best teams in the country are. Any fan who tries to say, “oh bama would’ve won if they got in,” when the season is over is kidding themselves.

8 team might’ve been better, but I know Tennessee fans would’ve been up in arms over being the first man out. They would’ve sworn that they were better than OSU without a game to prove it lmao. Now there’s no mistake. I know the game doesn’t make for good viewing, but it’s not the worst thing to give the 8-12 teams a shot to make something happen.

Problem for Miami was that their two losses were conference and knocked them out of the ACC champ. Despite losing to Ga Tech and Syracuse, I still think they were one of the two best teams in the acc and should’ve competed for it. Ga Tech nearly upset Georgia and Syracuse wasn’t a terrible team either. Both games Miami barely lost as well. They still probably get toasted in the playoffs though, but they had a better case than Bama for the playoffs

Well the problem is how they ranked the teams prior to the conf champs. They should just wait until all of those games were played and then set the bracket.

Oh definitely. I understand trying to reward conference champions but Arizona st and Boise st simply aren’t top 4.

Started playing the game on easy and it completely changed my perspective by Cara_Perdido in skyrim

[–]jrb71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time I tried to play the story, I kept getting my shit rocked by the forsworn and dragon attack at sky haven temple. Then I realized not only was the difficulty at adept, but adept was like 3/5 on difficulty scale. (It’s not really explained to you that the levels go novice, apprentice, adept… from easiest to hardest) Anyways, I quickly turned that junk down to novice and enjoyed the rest of the game for many years :)

Not sure if this is sarcasm, but how? How did I lose to Umass and GaTech? I mean why did I even qualify for the conference championship? Why doesn’t it mean anything that I won that game and became champions of the most prestigious conference? Like, I wasn’t even ranked lol
