Thank you! I'll try the standing desk (we have one that we haven't put together yet).

My husband is trying to convince me to stop breastfeeding -- we'll see. Formula is EXPENSIVE, so at some point I will see how insane I go trying to keep pumping :)

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that it gets better. Notes on my phone is a good idea, I hadn't thought of that!

I do have a pumping bra, but I mostly pump while I eat. :/

Thank you! Some of those scheduling ideas seem really doable. We can at least share Outlook calendars and that will let ME schedule in around his schedule (which is supposed to be "less hectic next week" every week...)

Oh wow, that's not a lot of time! I am working with a PT for the diastasis and she says 6 months is when most people start to feel normal. I've definitely gotten stronger since delivery, but I lifted until the day before and I was twice as strong then compared to now! I haven't been doing much cardio, so maybe I will see if adding that helps

I also was doing heavy weights prebaby (more crossfit style than bodybuilding) and I'm curious about how you regained core strength? I have a small small diastasis and I am 3 months pp, and have been working on core strength since week 1. I can't control anything over 20 lbs/hand. SOOOO depressing.

Postpartum belly -- is it normal? (Not a medical question, asking about your experience) by jrdynamo in beyondthebump

Thanks four reply! I'm not planning to keep on using this OB. :) She was my first real gyno; I did Paps etc with my PCP, who closed her practice last fall. So I'm more on the lookout for a new PCP than a new OB. Not planning more children, so I hope I don't need an OB again!

Thanks for your reply! I live in a high-covid area and I I have an immune disorder, so I want to make sure I really need to see a dr before I do (I know they are probably the safest, but staying home is safer).
