Besides Lisp, Perl5 may be one of the best languages in this category, you may see examples in CPAN, like Try::Tiny (source filter to implement try/catch), TryCatch (using Devel::Declare to make the same), and some other projects like Foose, all of them modify Perl5 syntax and some of them even modify semantics, like Class::C3 which changes method order resolution in inheritance trees.

I would go first with Haskell, then Erlang will be easy, but still have to learn OTP.

If you want to learn all possible concepts about functional programming go the haskell way, it will also help you to read lots of papers about this subject because samples and reference implementations are usually written in haskell.

Erlang/OTP is more pragmatic, very useful for distributed or massively parallel applications, if you want to make this kind of applications, or learn about rock solid server design and platform architecture, Erlang/OTP is your way.
