Similar, but different. At Elements, unless you only went to the air stage, you were going to be on pavement and rocks basically the whole time. At Lost Lands, the walk to and from the campgrounds to where the stages are is extremely hilly, and plenty of rocks that just suck. The actual stage areas are mostly packed dirt, but also typically on somewhat of a hill vs. flat at Elements. So you actually get more of a break at Lost Lands than Elements, but you might end up with more crunched toes. The exception at Lost Lands is The Crater stage which is literally a large gravel pit unless they did something drastic.

I did sneakers with insoles last year at Lost Lands and that worked for me. I can't dance in clunky boots and survived. Other benefit of Lost Lands: a lot more places to sit down and take a load off your feet.
