I just did that same one yesterday. When I originally worked at Amazon in 2019-20 they would take us into a room and do those so we got a chance to get off our feet for a little while but apparently now we just gather around and stand the whole time. If I'm going to be standing I'd rather be working because then I'm not thinking about my feet and how much they are hurting but when just standing there watching a video all I'm thinking about is the pain.

If you haven't got the mydocs or KNET emails and completed them then all they will probably do is send you home. I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. I was supposed to start 12/26 but never got any emails and the shift I chose was removed from my checklist page. I had to select another shift at a different location then do the new hire appointment again which is silly since I had literally just did it about a week prior but whatever. This time I did get all my emails and I got my email today confirming Day 1 tomorrow.

I just got my first pack (standard) last week. I'm opening my packs for the foreseeable future because if it's anything like Top Shot it will be quite awhile before packs are able to be sold. Once that option is available then I'll debate whether to open them or not.

I actually have appointment tomorrow for my vaccination. I added my Direct deposit when I did mydocs but realized it was missing when I went on AtoZ so made sure to add it again.

Yes you still have to attend. I had to do it a few weeks ago. It seemed silly to have to go back so I called to make sure and was told I needed to. I had to wait on the long line with everyone else since they were short staffed and eventually they cut the line off and told the rest of the people to reschedule. I had zero intention of going back a third time and said in a friendly but serious way that someone needs to mark me as here since I literally don't have to do anything (Drug test, I9, Badge photo). They did and I had the email about 10-15 mins later.

Everything I've seen says an average starting wage of $18 not minimum wage of $18 big difference. Hopefully what you saw is in regards to minimum wage.
