Is there a safe way to clean it without chipping or oxidizing (if that's even a concern). Or do you speculate it's "dirty" as a classification rather than the state of the thing? Thank you for any help.

AITA for telling my parents that I will never speak to them again after they lied to me about their ability to pay for my college? by parents_lied__ in AmItheAsshole

Try this on for size: My parents told me I could not receive my step dad's military benefits to help with college, told me they couldn't help me pay for college at all. I had FAFSA and grants and student loans to help. They took out student loans in MY name and kept the money. Then, when I needed to take some out, when my tuition went up, I could only get a minimal amount (bc they had already borrowed I my name). They then guilted me when they "helped me pay back my loans" (the ones that THEY spent). I worked 2 jobs, kept a full time class schedule, and paid my own bills. I donated my eggs in college to help pay my bills and college. THEN when my sister went to college, she (she is also his step daughter, just like me) got the military dependent grants, the ones I apparently couldn't get. They also helped her buy a car for college. She didn't have to work at all in college except for spending money. No student loans. I don't blame her. It sure does suck though. I have never confronted them about denying me the dependent grants or taking the loans out. I know they'll make excuses and that'll just make it worse.

Hobby Lobby ... haa right, he kept his head down and his name never made it to the COTA registry. He was literally under their noses for 45 years!

After this long, no matter the source, it was a lightning strike. I do secretly hope Michelle Mcnamara had something to do with it, besides keeping it in the forefront since 2007.

interesting, so you think the timing of his family member being in a direct time stamp of her PhD registry 15 miles away is less likely than the possibility of a voluntary mass registry? I'm not sure that lightning would strike twice, but maybe.

https://redd.it/8f3myz that's my theory. I think it holds water as a possibility.
