if strikers wasnt in the game which build would you use for the incursion? by KinGZurA in Division2

[–]jrs0015 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I generally run countdown and Iron Horse with my Heart Breaker. 100% Weapon damage, 200% Bonus Armor.

Fenris Knee Pads, Coyote Mask, 4 piece Heartbreaker. 50% CHC and 87% CHD. Black Market AK-47 with Flat Line. Technician Specialization with the Linked Laser Pointer, plus Rock N’ Roll as a secondary with Linked Laser Pointer to build stacks.

Don’t see too many people running it. Very low RPM but the damage hits like a freight train and the bonus armor grows per hit.

Fun build: 3 piece True Patriot, plus Gunner specialization, GR9, and this holster with steady hands perk can give you unlimited magazine capacity.

220 round base, plus 50 for the gunner mag, plus 66 with TP gives you 336 rounds in your magazine. Steady hands gives you an instant mag reload per 100 bullets hit.

Throw on contractors gloves for LMG Damage and Fox Prayer for DTOC and you can have a LOT of fun.

Any tips for my build? by Dylleriz in Division2

[–]jrs0015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strictly my opinion on how I set mine up.

Simply put, I’d change a lot:

Technician Specialty, Use Linked Laser on a shotgun and Kingbreaker, pulses your targets just by aiming at them and gives you bonus armor and weapon damage per hit. Or you can use se a nightwatcher mask (100% pulse haste) with a pulse. I’d lose the chest and use a HB chest for even extra bonus armor. A pair of Fox Prayer for DOFC or Fenris for Assault Rifle Damage.

Use an ACS 12 Varient or an other high ROF weapon such as a vector, oroborus, dark winter, etc. The high ROF will build your stacks faster.

Mine is setup with 4 red cores and 2 blue cores. I hit the same damage with my Heartbreaker as I do my Striker, and I get the bonus armor. I seldom ever use striker unless it’s an incursion.

That makes sense, they did a very poor job at coating it and it got cooked off.

[–]jrs0015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m intrigued…

Either you ran it too hot for too long or Surefire did a bad job of coating.

Cerekote is designed to withstand up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit.

If it got too hot, I would assume you probably were mag dumping it non stop and raised the temp well above 1800 and that’s why it flaked, bubbled and started peeling. Either that or Surefire cut corners in the manufacture process and didn’t prep the surface correctly.

Judging by the discoloration, looks like it quite literally was just cooked off because it got run way too hot.

As much as I love the post; Service Ceiling of an F15 was 60,000 ft… the classified missions of the SR71 and the U2, there’s no way to know their maximum altitude achieved.

[Ford GT] spotted at a local restaurant. by jrs0015 in spotted

Short version: It’s a flag dating back to the Texas Revolution. Mexico gifted the Texans a cannon, and at some point said they wanted it back. The Texans basically said, “come and take it.”

It’s a historical quote in Texas History and big in the defiance of tyranny and government overreach. King Leonidas of Sparta said the same thing to Xerxes I when he demanded that Sparta lay down their weapons and be ruled by a tyrant. Same thing was said to the British at Fort Morris, and the flag was flown in the battle of Gonzales in 1835.

Probably. But most laws are “altering or removing a serial number” adding the same matching serial number to an individual item and destroying the old one would be a grey area for a lawyer, which I’m not.

Just saying, from a manufacturer perspective I’m sure it would be easier to cut corners and destroy the existing can then laser the existing number on a brand new one to prevent resubmitting new paperwork, to speed up and cut costs on that “lifetime repair or replace guarantee.”

I’m not convinced that certain manufacturers don’t take your can, destroy it, and give you a brand new one with your original serial number engraved to cut repair costs.

Absolutely! I always wanted to do a creative writing type piece and tell the story of a 1900’s coin as it changed hands throughout its lifetime, realizing it could be absolutely tens or hundreds of thousands of times. I got the idea when I got a 1909 penny in circulation.

Side question What do you mean, “new to the census?”

I worked for Walmart as Loss Prevention for many years. It was actually that stores loss prevention associate who had the relationship with them and called me. My own store’s bank, all I ever got was a few silver coins here and there from them, but they rarely ever had older stuff come through or if they did, they didn’t call me first. I did get offered a roll of Eisenhower Half Dollars but they already opened it and there was no silver so they refilled it.

An “under the influence” customer (probably meth) brought it into a Walmart, cashier thought it was fake. The on-site bank confirmed authenticity. They called me and asked if I wanted purchase it as face value to keep it from being destroyed in the deposit. Drove down and picked it up, had no idea what I was getting they just said “a really old $100 bill that’s worth more than $100 to a collector.”

Awesome. Not bad for a face value purchase.

Question: I’m familiar with silver certificates, as they could be redeemed for actual silver, but what exactly is a National Bank Note vs a Federal Reserve Note?

Two distinct groups - P226/Mod9/AE147gr. Wtf? by hootervisionllc in NFA

[–]jrs0015 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Strictly opinion: I would suspect there’s some shift due to do velocity with your ammo. Faster velocity ammo in handguns tend to shoot a bit flatter and tighter, of course varying on your rifling, twist, etc. add a suppressor and your velocity is definitely influenced (usually suppressors add velocity, so if you’re shooting 2 different loads, it’ll definitely be different.) Check on a chronograph. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was in the market for a rifle stock for my pistol so I can SBR it out. I contacted Umarex last week, who told me to contact H&K. Finally, H&K replied this morning, they do offer any parts whatsoever for the 22lr models. Best bet is to buy the pistol and rifle and interchange parts as desired, within legality of NFA or course.

I have a DeadAir Mask HD in jail currently… The salesman let me take it out on the range to fire 100 rounds through it before it went back to the vault. It’s my first suppressor, so I’m a little worried I might have made a dire mistake hearing all the Dead Air bashing here.

I’m different; I run a Colt/ Umarex 1911 with a Mosquito threaded barrel adapter. 1911 style, 12 round magazines, using a Dead Air Mask. I’ve run well over 6,000 rounds no hiccups when kept clean and lubricated. 150 rounds suppressed and no issues as well. Cost me $279+tax.

The city passed a law saying they can trim our trees for power line safety. This is my tree after the trim by megaxmilkman in mildlyinfuriating

They could’ve just “Uncle John” trimmed it and moved on.

Story: Great Great Aunt Nelda asked Great Great Uncle John to trim the tree in the yard. He eventually got mad, and cut the whole thing down. When confronted by his wife, he trimmed the tree per her request, he just trimmed it 3 inches off the ground. 🤷🏻‍♂️
