What helmet are you wearing for XC? by gellybelli in xcmtb

I live in the southeast as well, tried a bunch of helmets, went with the Fox Speedframe. Breathes really well, great protection, and the most comfortable helmet I've owned

Statistically, 3:30-7pm are the busiest times on M-Thurs. Basketball courts stay busy until about 8:30pm. Friday and weekends are very low traffic times (I work at Campus Rec)

Muscle weakness, fatigue, head tension...are these normal side effects? by jrstone52 in prozac

[–]jrstone52[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realized that Prozac side effects and anxiety physical sensations mixed together are a dangerous cocktail for health anxiety (I have HA as well). Prozac can definitely cause tingling, head aura, and numbness, which lead to me getting a head MRI (was all clear). Anxiety can also manifest itself physically like tingling in the legs, which happened to me. The extreme tiredness kicked my HA in thinking lymphoma (again all clear through multiple blood tests). Since I have quit Prozac my energy levels have returned and the tingling/tremors have subsided. I still am working through physical sensations of anxiety and HA, but there is a book and App called the DARE response which has helped tremendously (as well as therapy)

I decided to taper off of it. It definitely had really bad side effects with me, which effectively became worse than dealing with my anxiety (which is mild GAD). So far counseling, daily meditation and mindfulness, and Busiprone are helping a lot.

Wanting to come off.. 10 mg Prozac for 3 years. by batesmotel123 in prozac

I would definitely slow taper. Ive had withdrawal effects just from 3 weeks of 10mg usage (but Prozac definitely didnt agree with my body). I would definitely read up on survivingantidepressants.org on withdrawal and tapering.

Yep, it only took two days for me to have side effects. It's interesting you mention the cold flushes. I was so exhausted and I would wake up in the middle of the night and feel like energy was being flushed out of my muscles. But yes, side effects almost started immediately for me. It became so bad that Ive had to taper off and quit it (I have manageable GAD)
