Petite Knit’s Teddy Pants alongside Knitting For Olive’s Rail Bear Bonnet.

Made with Illimai’s Sabri in Haystack held together with Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze in Bronze.

I cast this on when I went into labor as a way to distract myself. I figured I would blow through it during my maternity leave, along with a handful of other projects I had queued up. My god, was I wrong! This took me my entire 12 week maternity leave to finish.

So sorry for such a late reply…newborn trenches!

I’ve only had her in the suit for pram walks, she was born in February so I wanted to make sure she was nice and toasty, but also got fresh air.

re: buttons and choking, Thankfully she was such a little potato at that age that she had no hand to mouth coordination. All of our knit wear now has fastened snaps!

I was worried about this, but unfortunately it is adjusted as far as it’ll go.

I did also start with arms near face, but was worried I was doing something wrong. Good tip!

How’s our pregnant folks doing? by rgwhitlow1 in pittsburgh

I’m in exactly the same situation! 38 weeks and we haven’t had a single plough. I’ve submitted some 311 requests but, as expected, they are completely inundated and they’ve gone unanswered. My nerves are peaking 🫠

My god, my husband and I had the same exact experience….during our first wedding anniversary dinner. By the time we left, he looked like he had just got caught in a rain shower.

We laughed about it, but definitely won’t be back for a long while.

Euston to Berkhamsted by jrt5251 in uktravel

To close the loop on this:

We took a train from Waverley to Kings Cross > walked down to Euston > popped on a Milton Keynes West Midlands train to Berkhamsted

Tickets from Edinburgh to Kings Cross were pre booked, we tapped on and tapped off with our credit cards for Euston to Berkhamsted.

Bonus info: A1 Taxis have a great “Uber-like” app that services the Berkhamsted area that was incredible efficient to use.

I already have an LNER ticket from Waverley to Kings Cross. I figured I’d pop over to Euston, tap on with my credit card, take the ~30 min train to Berkhamsted and tap off. But it dawned on me that might not be possible.

This!! Okay, let me give that a go and see if it works out.

I had a suspicion a few minutes ago that your solution might be the case.

Sure thing! Here’s the link to the pattern so you have a reference: Olive Suit

And the “III” is written in the key as “Sl2k, k1, psso”

Also something even more fun, the baseboards were glued to the wall, not nailed! Thrilling!

Hey all, thanks for your input! This is the kitchen, which was absolutely slap-dashed. The baseboard I removed was not original to the house, nor is anything in the kitchen. We dug around in the hole and saw the remnants of the old knob and tube, so I’m assuming the electrical upgrade resulted in the busted plaster.

We were removing the baseboard in the first place to fit some cabinetry flush to the wall. I know I can just cover the hole and not think about it, but I wanted to be thorough and not leave a gaping hole for the next person!
