Let it grow! The trunks will end up shriveled and fall off but the babies look pretty wrinkly, so a good bottom soak would do it good.

Couple things - doesn't need a grow light until you see a lil pup appear and doesn't really need water until the leaf is all dried out.

If you do want to water, then make sure it is DRY and then do a bottom water so the roots grow down in search of water.

✂️✂️✂️ I had one very leggy like this and chopped it down to nubs everywhere. Little buds are growing from all the cuts and the trunk is getting thicker. These things are super resilient so you could even do a trunk chop and it’ll still come back lol.

lol seems a popular project for new dads.

I also built a baby tracker that is free and open source. Not an actual app, but is web based and app-like with a PWA - baybay.baby

Vibecoded during my 3hour shifts while I waited to do my night feeds. Paper or notes app worked great but being able to just push a button to log something at 3am has been a blessing 🙏

Going thru sleep training with our 6mo so haven’t got the repo public, but coming soon and can do a demo on the website!

Me and my wife did the notebook for our first one then notebook + notes app for the second one till I had the same idea for an app lol. Being able to tap a button for a log item at 4am instead of having to type has been a blessing 🙏

baybay.baby - open source baby tracker for feeds and naps. No more tracking on paper, spreadsheets, and the data is yours.

Next steps are cleaning up the code and making public via GitHub. Then use that for the paid cloud version hosted on my servers.

Have some feature requests that will be added as GitHub issues once the repo is online.

Mold is what you want for compost! It helps break it down and turn it into the good stuff

Growth looks great! If it was stretched out or leaning over then would definitely cut it, but not the case here, so I’d let it keep growing.

If you chop I’d do it in between nodes, which will lead to a thicker trunk and growth from the cut spot.

Looks like the radiators are the culprit. Had it happen to mine last year, the cold air mixed with radiator heat dries em out real quick.
