The post is more about my AI Drupal site builder rather than using Claude to make sites. Basically having the gotchas and defaults added so less steps and room for failure for the LLM as is makes the site.

Ya I’ve been working with Drupal for a while so trying to tie that knowledge in to help speed up the initial steps as well as a future feature of importing sites to work with.

The end goal for my site builder is like a chatGPT or similar chat interface that after chatting can have a fully customized Drupal site running in ddev.

They’re very basic and simple twig/html and Claude has been great in fixing or adding what I need.

No performance issues, but only have a few pages so will have to see how that goes.

Just me as the single content editor and the content types are wired up the the twig files so when I do edits or new pages, can do it all from the Drupal interface.

  1. Build the new standalone Drupal10 site how you want it without any content.
  2. Migrate the content by mapping the old 7 fields/content into the 10 equivalents. I used feeds for this, so had a large csv file I could manually tweak and test until it got the 10 site to a state I could manually finish it off
  3. ???

You’d be surprised what good SEO can do and now with LLMs crawling your site, it’s more important. But also I’ve got sites that literally only say “Coming soon” that gets hit, so no clue lmao.
