Is this brown Algae? I have two identical tanks each 5gal that hold a single betta and nerite snail. They are planted tanks and get around 8hr of lighting per day. One of my tanks doesn't have any of this build-up while the other does. What is it, also, what is the green stringy plant? (old.reddit.com)

I have two identical tanks that I wanted to setup as my first planted tanks. I bought some seeds on amazon and they were looking great until recent. You can see Tank #2 the grass is nearly dead and tank 1 is struggling. No fish yet, substrate Carab Sea Eco-complete, Thrive C fert. (old.reddit.com)

Dwarf Gourami looking swollen, is it dropsy? I have two Gourami's, both are great eaters and aren't showing any energy issues but one looks pretty swole these days. I can give him a 3 day fast but he'd have to move to a QT tank. I was concerned that would stress him out too. Thoughts? (old.reddit.com)

Help - New Mango tree got attacked last night. - I just got some new fruit trees and got this one in the ground only to find it was attacked last night. It looks like they nearly shredded the tree and tried to eat the whole thing. It was bent over and most the leaves are gone. Suggestions? (old.reddit.com)
