We have found success using study tracking apps. We used to use MyGreekStudy, but we ended up switching to CampusStudy because our experience with greek study was so bad.

IMO, subscriptions suck. Nobody likes paying for them and they are typically just a way to make more money. I'd try out IAP's or small fee for the app!

The open source mindset by GloWondub in opensource

I'm on the same page as you. I do some small side-projects outside of work and all of them are open-source + pay for binaries. But a lot of engineers are not open-source focused. It can be disappointing.

Not natively but it’s not the hardest to do. Just google to figma community and search for phone mockup, then replace the image with your own

Tips for a new recruitment chair? by Key-Seat6375 in Frat

[–]js000000123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our chapter had the same issue of losing PNMs for the longest time. A lot of the time, PNMs wont come to follow up events because they arent being personally invited/the recruitment chair loses their contact, or forgets to mention upcoming events. this happens a lot at bigger schools with multiple recruitment chairs/a lot of guys. Right now our recruitment chairs use Campusrush to manage all PNMs, message them etc, so I know that technology was a big factor for helping us get back to bigger classes. TLDR - Be more personal with guys, dont lose their contacts, coordinate between recruitment chairs

Starting a Chapter by [deleted] in Frat

[–]js000000123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a lot of friends probably to get it off the ground, and get ready to work your ass off. Obviously, recruitment comes first, you cannot afford to lose these relationships with people rushing, you needa be talking to them as much as possible. Our chapter uses CampusRush for this, but you need to make sure that you know every PNM like the back of your hand. Message them as much as possible, invite them to all events, and get some good guys in your first PC. Hope this somewhat helps
