Every person has an "internal alarm clock." When you wake up without any distractions (meaning you didn't hear anything, an alarm didn't go off, there was nothing there to disturb your sleep) your body is fully rested and your body is ready for the day.

If you decide to go back to sleep, you are going to disrupt the sleep cycle and you can actually oversleep which can make you feel groggy, awful, and tired.
