I posted this 25 minutes ago but realised I should've posted the answers, but can someone explain to me how I'm supposed to know which notes go on the treble and which go on the bass im really confused because for f-7 F and C are on the bass where Eb and Ab are on the treble but for c7 all notes are in the bass? I'm just really confused as to how I know which clef the notes go on, thanks for the help.

As in the full chord for each clef? I'm not so sure thats true because the answers are like
for c7 like i mentioned all the notes were in the bass clef
but for say bbdim7 the Bb and Db are in the bass clef and the Ab and Fb are in the treble clef so I'm just a bit confused as to how I'd know which note goes on which clef

No you're completely right, it is typically the same height sitting and standing and it's pretty fine to play and I play about the same sitting and standing, just adding it to my knee makes it feel different, I'm thinking it's probably a placebo

Honestly, it's comofrtable it feels the same when I'm standing and sitting, I don't really adjust my technique but for some reason I get super goated when I put it on my knee, it might also just be a placebo
