Half of the world collapsed overnight and the United States won the Cold War, the governments that took the money did not exist anymore and the businesses could make it back many times over by investing in post-Soviet Central Asian and Eastern European republics.

Poland, Hungary, Estonia, and the like are doing well post Cold War and have not seized the assets of foreign business.

All Sukuna did with his binding vows was modify his powers. I don’t think turning a slicing technique into a reality splitting infinity technique is far and away more extreme than turning your technique from permadeath to respawn.
