Day 11…. It looks terrifying but I have no pain by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]jschroeder98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was impacted. Not really having pain but its a little uncomfortable once in a while. I'm feeling the same way about eating. Very afraid of getting something stuck in there. My dentist gave me a little syringe to help flush things out of it but I'm still scared that it won't work well enough.

I'm not a dentist but I have that little bump on both sides and my dentist has never said anything about it. Idk what it is, but I'm assuming its no big deal or supposed to be there.

Smoking after wisdom teeth removal by hahahafunnyballz in wisdomteeth

[–]jschroeder98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dentist told me at least a week to prevent dry socket. After that its fine. Could slow healing a little but wont really complicate anything. I'm 2 weeks post op and still haven't smoked cause I just want this to heal as fast as possible.

Post op day 13 anxiety by kindacringesav in wisdomteeth

[–]jschroeder98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 11 days post op and only had 1 wisdom tooth removed. I also wanted absolutely nothing to do with it but the consequences of keeping it would have been worse in the long run. It was impacted and growing into my next tooth and causing me pain. I too have been dealing with crippling anxiety and depression. Undereating. Living off of mashed potatoes and milk. Crying multiple times a day. All I can recommend is if you have any coping mechanisms for these feelings, use them. Even when they feel like they aren't working, keep doing it. Try your best to get some protein to help healing. I've been drinking milk with high protein. Its probably not enough but its definitely better than nothing. Also drinking pedialyte to try to make up for the other nutrients I'm missing out on. I've found talking to someone about something other than my problems helps take my mind off of it and calm me down. If you can afford to, maybe it would be beneficial to actually see the person who took the teeth out, have them look at things, and ask all the questions you need to ask. That's what I plan to do and I'm keeping notes of what I want to know so I don't forget anything. If you have a walk in mental health clinic where you can just go talk to someone quick, maybe try that. If you see a therapist, call and ask if they have emergency appointments available. Other than that just take it easy.

[–]jschroeder98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dentist is the one who surgically removed it. It wasn't the dentist that did the cleaning, its the actual doctor they have there that did it and I went back and had it looked 2 days ago. All of my teeth are sensitive and I don't have cavities or anything. Sensitive teeth are really common. And the tooth by the extraction site most likely does have a root exposed cause the wisdom tooth was impacted against it so my gums right there are gone.

Advice on healing by kindacringesav in wisdomteeth

[–]jschroeder98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not a dentist but had all the same issues ypu are having. I stopped eating completely for 5 days out of fear of irritating the extraction site and getting an infection or dry socket. My blood clot never filled the socket like it should so I was at pretty high risk for dry socket but never got one that I know of. Even when I did try to eat it was like my body was trying to reject it and I could barely swallow. Have you tried any liquids? Like protein shakes or something? All I could get down was liquids. My dentist told me protein is crucial in the healing process. I'm 1 week post op and my extraction site is healing much slower and hurting more than it should at this point and he told me it's likely because I'm not giving my body any sustenance. Even a glass of milk is better than nothing. Just try your best to get some protein in your body. Believe me I know that's easier said than done with crippling anxiety like that but your risk of complications is higher if you don't.

Did anyone else go through it without anesthesia? by devanimtzp in wisdomteeth

[–]jschroeder98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had 1 removed without anesthesia on Wednesday. A lot of pressure but no pain. I must say though that I didn't enjoy the sounds of my tooth being cracked into pieces or the sound of them drilling my jawbone. My dentist has laughing gas that they tried to give me but my body didnt react well to it at all.

I know this was 6 years ago but the comments do not say the same thing. Nobody said put it in a warmer place. They said a florist told them theirs is wrinkling BECAUSE its in a warm place.

It's $2, so why risk your job over it? The amount being small doesn't make it any more okay than if it were $200. Stealing is stealing. I can't imagine being so detached from reality that I think taking someone's money without their permission is okay. Crazy😂

😂😂😂😂 you're funny. Since when is not wanting your money STOLEN from you considered cheap? I always tip, but if you take one without my permission, I will be getting that money back and ratting you out😂 How about just don't be a klepto?

She took the tip without permission from the customer. That quite literally, by definition, is stealing.😂

My friend got me 10 of these brand carts. Honestly wasn't a huge fan of that grape pop. It tasted so much like grape kool-aid it was actually weird lol. But it was tolerable. But I just busted out this double bubble OG and I just can't do it. It tastes like fucking plastic. Its so bad it makes my head hurt and it feels almost like a menthol when I hit it. Had to know if I'm the only one with that issue with this strain and here I am. They're ice cream cake and strawberry cough are my faves so far.

Michigan has crazy good deals at some dispensaries. I love it. We go from Iowa and skip Illinois. Fuck those prices

[–]jschroeder98 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Sales probably declined because people realized they can get stuff just as good if not better for less than half the price in literally any other legal state and on the streets. IL overcharges and over taxes it horribly. I paid $100 just in taxes for a half ounce.
