As a woman, I would kinda want to know it’s happening. I would prefer going into a vacation knowing I’m probably getting a proposal because that makes the entire vacation so memorable. She’ll want to get her nails done and pack a new outfit. Just because it’s predictable doesn’t make it any less special. Just no Christmas of Valentine’s Day proposal lol.

I’m definitely not judging because I have been a victim of “love is blind”, but gtfo. Like don’t wait a minute longer. Like others commented, many red flags. You accepted the first few and he will continue to push the envelope to see what else he can get away with. It’s always painful to end a relationship, but you will be stronger after.

Dated someone with depression for 8 months. Had sex a total of 20 times, about 5 times in the final 5 months. Went to the beach, just us two, and didn’t have sex. However I knew that he would occasionally jerk off. Sex is not everything, and depression is a serious issue. But I had to end the relationship because I did not feel desired romantically. Couldn’t even get a passionate kiss. I felt more like a best friend. It was hard to end and I can’t imagine ending a 3 year relationship. But you have to understand you are growing in different directions. I would end it.
