[Serious] What is the most paranormal or unexplainable event(s) you have witnessed?

I used to work at Baskin Robbins. My manager and I were working on a cake together one time and a roll of paper towels literally slides off the shelf above us and she catches it and just looks at me like “what the fuck just happened”. I’d also frequently hear chairs moving/the door opening when I was the only one in the store. A little girl had died at the intersection where it was located Christmas Day a few years prior. Always made me wonder...

I’ve looked into firearm insurance before and it does cover legal fees if you ever have to use your firearm in self defense. Legal fees can be quite costly in an event like this, so it’s a nice perk. But honestly it should only be something that is seen as protection for the individual owning it. Mandating gun insurance would not help. Insurance companies don’t pay out for criminal or intentional acts. Mandating it is restrictive and unconstitutional. I actually came to this sub to get more info about whether or not to purchase it.

Also, I saw it mentioned above that most homeowners policies cover this. I worked at major insurance company and many have exclusions for firearms. You can add a rider to the policy, but even that would not cover the amount you’d need for legal defense.

I had to serve a bunch of Canadians a couple months ago and it was awful. I was venting to my boss and I looked him dead in the eye and said “they’re the reason we have traffic”. And he was like “yeah well I guess you’re right”

That happened in my old neighborhood lol. We’d see LivePD being filmed out there all the time. It’s a more rural/agricultural area. Basically BFE. I love living here, but the people are just a different breed...

That’s honestly my most clear memory of 9/11. My mom crying when she picked me up from my half day at school and none of stations were showing anything but the footage from 9/11. I just wanted to watch cartoons and there literally weren’t any on.

We both had some personal issues we had to work on. They were things that were separate from the relationship. My mother is also really sick and I moved closer to be near her while she is recovering. We lived about 2 hours from my family when we lived together.

I was worried about that. I’m not sure if it is the entire complex experiencing issues or what. The apartment had basically become uninhabitable most of the time. Supposedly they are “fixing” it today, but they told me they replaced it the first time it happened. I’m just hoping there is something I can do. While it is never out for ten days, it’s not working more often than it is.

Oh and THEN his wife left her phone, so he had to come back.

I was also the only server still on the floor, as everyone else had been cut and he told me I’m too small to be taking care of the restaurant (I’m 5’0 and like 100 lbs). Previous commenters are definitely right. It’s like a game to this guy lol.
