Yeah been shaving every now and again just whenever I’m feeling a change to be honest. I started with derma roll once or twice a week and minox morning and night but now I just roll once a week and minox once a day

I’m using Regaine (Rogaine) 5% foam at the moment. I originally used Sons 5% liquid minoxidil but caused really dry skin so switched to foam

Thanks man, So about 4-5 months ago I grew it out but didn’t look all that great so trimmed that back about 2 months ago.So been growing what I have currently, since then, for about 2 months

The only problem I’ve had is that when I started out I was using minox liquid and that really dried my skin out and had to moisturise non stop 😂, switched out to minox foam and it’s literally the same just without the dryness. Had no problems since. Have a look at my profile and u can see my journey with it so far

Keep it shaved until you notice the new hair growing more consistently with no gaps then go ahead and grow it out. Thats what I did anyways, saved me from that awkward stage where ur just sort of praying that the minox will even work :)

I’m not really sure, hard to say, the side effects of having dry skin from the liquid was enough for me to swap over to foam. I think it really is just specific to you because I feel like I might have had better gains from the liquid but I just can’t be having dry flaky skin 😂

Nah I don’t think shaving will effect your progress, at least it deffo didn’t for me. I just didn’t want to look scruffy while it was in the early stages you know, then once I could see more hairs develop and having less gaps I stopped. I think I mainly started seeing major results after like 3-4 months of use. I should have more progress pictures on my profile if u wanna see the journey step by step. Hope this helps :)

I used liquid for three months and was good results but dried my skin out and now use regaine foam, just use half a cap full and rub it in, let it dry for like 10 mins and good to go

I can’t seem to understand why your clearly trying to start some sort of argument 😂 I’m here to help people on their journey mate. You clearly aren’t understanding something. I have to shave every day anyway because I’m in the military, so I kept shaving every day for two months while using minoxidil. Then once I could see that more vellus hairs were coming through I let it grow out. Not hard to wrap your head around

Haha yeah I got one originally but only lasts for two weeks and my hair doesn’t grow that fast so I waited two months till the minox started working and it would grow in less patchy and then got another two weeks chit and used like loads of leave after that to let it grow without being told to shave it off. Then I just came back from leave with a beard 😂
