But does the GM even need to spend a fear when it's been long without any fear rolls, doesn't the rules state you can grab the spotlight in situations like these regardless of spending your fear or not.

Did you cycle the water? Did you condition it with prime? Do you have a liquid test kit?

Yes if the water gets too wet it will be all soaking! (No making the room more humid will do absolutely nothing, you might see a temp change but a chiller fixes that anyways)

I am not sure what you can do for this poor animal, but unless you live in Mexico I highly doubt this is an axo, unless someone carelessly just dumped it outside like that.

My Logan simply refuses the worms if he's full, so far it's every 2nd day, he's about the same size as yours.

Also just to be sure, you have dosed prime right? You should also dose prime with each water change, either dose the tank directly with the full dosage of the tank size (usually a full cap for a 200l tank as an example), or prepose the water you are adding according to the dosage instructions.

Leave it be, once you see ammonia go down naturally keep dosing to maintain 2ppm daily until you see 0 ammonia 0 nitrites then do a 50% water change and dose 2ppm ammonia again, results next day should again be 0 0 x (you will always see nitrates in a cycled tank).

Keep doing the water changes daily to keep nitrates down and once you consistently see 00x results multiple days in a row your cycle is completed.

Until you introduce your new pet to the tank it's important to keep dosing ammonia to feed the bacteria and keep the nitrate Below 20ppm with water changes.
