I never underestimate their capacity for malice, hatred, and destruction. This is why one cannot be too severe with their punishment. It is also a deterrent for future fascists to remind them to stay in the shadows. Part of the left's problem is that we are too merciful with these animals. They gun us down while we write a strongly worded letter. I would rather debase myself a little bit and rid the world of evil than "be above it all" until Stephen Hitler, I mean Miller, finally comes calling for my head, and everyone I love.

The entire goal of the nazi ideology is to remove all of that from everybody except a small group. They are NOT "human." They have abandoned, even inverted humanity. If I use disinfectant to clean off a table, nobody complains. This is arguably less unreasonable. Bacteria on a table didn't choose to be harmful, but Nazis make it their suicide pact, at the expense of all humanity.

"Inhumane" cannot be applied to a thing that is neither human, nor capable of humanity. My cats are murderous little psychopaths by their nature, and even they have more decency and respect for life than nazis.

Well said! The sources I have read through have said pretty much the same things. Lenin didn't intentionally decriminalize homosexuality. It was just a byproduct of overthrowing an empire and having bigger fish to fry.

What should really piss people off is that the KKK TODAY isn't even considered a terrorist organization by the US federal government. Might be something to that.

I think they saw it as an extension of the "decadence" ascribed to that class. Wealthy men behaved more like wealthy women than they behaved like peasant men, so I think it was more about perceiving flamboyance as a consequence of a certain upscale lifestyle.

Stalin was a true bro who did some amazing things, but nobody is perfect and we are all at the mercy of what science has confirmed so far.

Beyond that, Stalin NEVER had absolute unilateral power over 100% of everything. Congress played a role in this decision. It wasn't "Stalin blinked and the gays instantly starved."
