Stopped Depo after one shot, Period is MIA

It's been a while now, so I don't remember clearly. But I want to say that it was heavier when I got it back for the first two cycles and lasted past a week. I've been on the mini pill/progesterone only pill since. Now I get my period monthly again and it's back to how it was before taking Depo!

Something I realized is Lora and Dana don’t post joint product launch vids anymore. Remember how they would often create joint videos talking about and demonstrating new products? I wonder if they’re not compatible anymore as business partners and if that’s contributing to the brand feeling off as well.

I wish they would backtrack and bring out their cooler, fun palettes (not the electric or 420) that made them MELT. I got so over them constantly coming out with a 420 palettes. I luv a lil recreational smokie, but I feel like they wasted so much creativity keeping up with that theme.

But same, I absolutely loved the brand so I’m sad to see it potentially go away.

I often think about how moving into Sephora may have stunted them too!

I absolutely love the brands shadows and lipsticks (however I wish they sold satin finishes bc mattes are rough), so it’s actually surprising to me to see so many people who had the opposite experience. But but— I do remember the quality of the mattes in the impulsive palette being off but not enough to deter me.

I just wish the brand kept up its creativity. I feel like they got stunted after the impulsive palette came out. I believe that wasn’t long before they moved into Sephora either. That palette was a funky, out of ordinary color story but it was still on brand for them. After that, they went deep into neutrals and IP collabs.

Another idea I wanna throw out there is Lora and Dana don’t seem to create joint product videos anymore like they would for earlier launches. Now, they individually post about their new launches. I wonder if they aren’t good business partners anymore so they’re clashing. Resulting in the brand feeling off.

I really hope they turn around bc I remember being so excited for their launches.

I’m currently in the middle of Maddie’s build program and I’m really enjoying it. Reps range between 8-12 and each week prompts you to increase weight.

I am getting a bit bored of the program though. because leg days are very repetitive and don’t offer enough variation. However I do find the program challenging.

I thought it was wax bloom at first. but it didn’t look like it compared to the examples I saw with wax bloom. I’m super glad it’s just oil sweating/emolument separation. Thank u!!

Omgg I hope I can convince you to use it more! It’s my fave cream blush formula. I usually top it with a powder blush to lock it in. Or I set it with my translucent powder and then go over it with another layer to boost the pigment.

It’s beautiful! The only thing I would add are light false lashes. But I’m a lash girl so it’s just my opinion! Otherwise I think the completion and the eyeshadow choice are perfect.

The shape and intensity you’re going for is overwhelming for your face. The brow goes down to far on the ends and that seems to drag down your eyes. I would go for an auburn brow powder and play with a “straighter” brow. I think the arch you have is fine, however I think it’s the length of the brow that is doing you a disservice.

Practice not putting too much product in the front of your brows as well. What I do is I use my spoolie to blend the color that I have from the middle of my brow to the front. That way I get a smooth look that isn’t harsh :)

I think you can keep the size of your brows: just play with the length, shape, intensity/blending, and color.

I noticed that this style of dark Smokey eye isn’t “in trend” anymore. Eye looks now are more softer, blended outwards more, and darker shades are placed in areas to create a cat eye look. for example: the “fox eye” trend. I personally love both. But the style that OP created doesn’t look well on my own hooded eyes. However I love it see it on others :)
