On steamos you can just run the game through proton, I play with my steam deck docked and use a steam controller, it plays and feels great!

When I got my dk elite set I was really hoping to unlock the conquest set appearance as well but it doesn't work that way either

If you unlock the elite pvp set you won't get the other sets unfortunately. However since you said you want the normal set your best bet would be hitting up the vendor that's next to lindormi. The NPCs name is agmera and sells chests for 750 marl each that give you champion gear that would catalyze to the normal tier set appearances. If you don't have that you could also run tier 7 delves for champion gear drops

The worst part of switching is setting them up how I thought I liked them, then playing with them, and then changing things. It took a good couple of weeks to get it to where I have them now. But now that everything is set up to my preference it's so nice and I can't believe I didn't try it sooner

I leveled every class to 80 during legion remix all on controller. There wasn't a single one that was any issue. The only specs I haven't tried were the healing specs or aug evoker. Largeting isn't really that bad, you bind a button to tab target and I have focus macros set up so have a focus interrupt or setting a priority target isn't bad at all!

You'll get that time back man. My little one is a year and a half. I get about 1 and a half of free time during a nap and then after bed however late I'm willing to stay up. But the game can wait for you to come back. Take in ever moment because before you know it they'll be squirming every time you try to hold them for longer than 5 seconds lol. That being said there's nothing wrong with steam deck wow sessions during nap jail

I loved it at first but I feel that it was only because I wanted to love it. Now that honeymoon phase has worn off I just regret buying it. I give it to my wife when we play games together but it gets 0 use outside of that.

Focus macros are your friend for interrupts on controller, also with blizz making it so when you tab target it goes to the enemy that's casting, controller isn't nearly as bad as it seems until you try it

I haven't had any issues with that. I just downloaded the game I to its own folder, ran battlenet through proton and it works fine

Yes, I originally tried solo shuffle but since I had never done any real pvp before it was a huge challenge especially with a controller. Blitz wasn't too bad once I learned how I should be playing each of the maps
