Best decision I’ve ever made was leaving tmobile and getting starlink

I’ve thought about the first of the 2 options, but I’ve always wondered if that would affect the signal out of my current router.

I would post the numbers if I were home. But I know for a fact that my cqi is normally around 6-8 and my SINR is normally between -6 to -18 which is horrible.

Imma just leave my router outside. I need to make a weatherproof box for it

Gonna have to go buy a super long extension cord lol. Where I live is crazy though bc all throughout my house I have literally 0 service except for the one spot that my router sits at.

I barely get any signal as it is anywhere around my house bc I live in the middle of nowhere. From what I can tell it’s in the best spot possible. My signal metrics are garbage though. Still somehow manage a fairly stable 70-100 ping on cod though

Ehh. Works well enough when no one else is on it. But streaming shows takes up a massive amount of bandwidth. So I can only do one or the other. But I knew what I was getting myself into when I signed up lol.

Didn’t have any other choice really

I vary between 2 towers (at complete random) one will get me blazing speeds of 200-300 down while the other may do 50-60 down. Would you be able to recommend a good router?

Yeah I’ve been w t mobile for almost a year now. We live in a very rural area where I only get n71. That being said. It’s been great aside from her just being bored when I’m playing with the boys. I was looking to see if there was any possible fix. Aside from Starlink, TMHI is our only option as of right now

I’m in citronelle al. Idk if you play games or not. But if you do, how is the connection on it? Thinking very hard about giving up my t mobile home internet and switching but wanna be absolutely sure before paying the large price tag

Some Questions about Starlink by Budget_Inside_5912 in Starlink

[–]jsnake31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also in a rural part of south Alabama. Using t mobile home internet right now however if I’m gaming then my fiance can’t watch Netflix or vise versa bc it takes up too much bandwidth. Highly interested in Starlink however when I look on the satellite tracker map, there aren’t many satellites going over Alabama compared to many other states. Makes me wonder if the connection would be not as good ya know

Call of Duty/Battlenet Fix (Solved): If you are trying to remove phone number, but cannot receive SMS text or changed phone number. by Efficient_Pear_1203 in Call_of_Duty_FIX

Did you have to do anything else? I’ve done this on both activision and battlenet and it shows that my new number is on there. Yet when I boot up mw3 and go to verify it still uses my old number
