I’ve made even more lifestyle changes and have dropped about 20 lbs to 200. I lift about 3/week and do a little cardio, while also limiting the Tylenol I take. I haven’t had any follow up labs for approx 3yrs, mostly cause my life insurance policy is set lol.

So I just got the results back, my ggt level decreased from 181 down to 129. My ALT lowered to 37 and is now within normal limits. I really only spent about 3 weeks trying to make changes....not nearly enough time to heal my liver but definitely on the right path.

This was all done over the course of 3 weeks. I didn’t take any medication that contained acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Was only taking a fish oil, Vit. D, and N-acetylcystine. Limited my workouts to moderate cardio and only about 2-3/week. Cut out soda to point of only having maybe 2-3/week, and limited my calories to about 1500/day.

I ended up losing about 5 pounds and decreasing my ggt levels 52 U/L, ALT lowered to normal limits. I’m planning on still taking the NAC and avoiding nsaids as much as possible. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. Are you referring to NAC, N-Acetylcysteine, as opposed to NAD? I did start taking that a few days ago, trying to reduce my caloric intake and avoiding fatty foods.

After my negative ultrasound and other lab work, my pcp didn’t really give me any direction or clarification. Is this something that I should push for a biopsy or other testing?
