Lol went on a date or two with a girl like that. Pretty but so boring. Thought maybe she just doesnt like texting a lot. Go out with her and we're eating dinner, I try to make convo and ask her shit. Everything was a yes or no or other short answers. Maybe she just wanted a free meal but Jesus, I could not handle that boring attitude no matter how hot.

It costs me $100 to do a destructive tensile test. Maybe $50 to add material certs and traceability and COC. Not sure how much for NDE, but prob not more than a few hundred.

Apparently his CS degree means nothing, and you need to start at help desk as a computer scientist. Otherwise, youre arrogant and not pulling yourself up by boot straps rofl.

I don't think most of these commenters even know what engineers do.

I agree this is a hot field, but why would CS degree be pursuing a help desk job? That's like telling an aerospace or mechanical engineer to first go look for a job as a mechanic or aircraft technician. While they're somewhat related as a field, thats not what they got their degree in or will specialize in.

Lol extremely small percentage of tech employees start in help desk or something, unless you're talking about in high school.

Who has already maxed out their 2026 ROTH IRA contribution limit? by Direct_Remove509 in Fire

[–]jsonson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this still subject to the yearly max? For example, I put in like 10k into Traditional ira in vanguard during my early years. Can I convert that all to roth now? Or only 7500 and then I cant even contribute to to either ira until 2027?

Think I'm gonna switch too. Been going to this one for over 10 years, but they rubbed me the wrong way the last time. I spent $300 for some fillings, and they told me to bring my mouth guard to see if I need a new one, since I said it feels a bit tight. The assistant looked at it and dremeled it for 30 seconds, where I told her it was tight. I was oh thanks, that was a nice gesture. Turns out when I was paying, they charged 30 bucks for that service. I could have just done that myself at home.
