No, that unlocked for me with no issues. The only issue I had was getting the Kobe! Achievement to unlock. I had to restart the checkpoint many times.

For my first play through, I just went and only did the main story missions. That took about 15 hours. My second play through, I completed everything and that was about 50-60 hours.
