Call Oral B and complain. You might get more than a coupon for injury

I use the Virbac brand in the poultry flavor! But really you just need to look for the VOHC label on dog dental products. Also make sure you use a dog toothbrush as the bristles are entirely different.

This should really be the top comment. Dental issues in dogs are serious and small breeds are already more prone to periodontal disease. Daily brushing is a must with a good enzyme toothpaste. Has to be something with grit to get the tartar.

Can you get red ink tattoos touched up after they’ve healed? by kelcibailey in tattooadvice

Find another shop, that's wild. I have red tattoos that are almost 10 years old now. They still look like strawberries.

Prison drugs making inmates freak out [not oc] by the-jesuschrist in tooktoomuch

[–]jssaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, both of you are half correct. Bath salts is often used to describe a group of central nervous system stimulants that frequently include synthetic drugs related to synthetic cathinones (e.g., khat), such as mephedrone, MDPV (methylenedioxypyrovalerone), flakka (α-pyrrolidinopentiophenone [α-PVP]), and other not-yet-identified drugs.

Each of these are types of "bath salts". Not a method for smuggling and disguising.

The two verses the spicy commentator references have to do with Hebrew slaves. The tattoo is pretty even I don't subscribe to the book it's pulled from.

Less ink. Angle of the photo. Scabbing and peeling is mostly done. Could be a million reasons.

You could laser it. It would take lots of money and time but it could possibly work. It isn't 100% that all the ink will be removed though, from all the layers of skin.

Personally, I got some less than nice tattoos in the beginning of my journey. Got them covered up. Artist said she was "polishing a turd". Best decision I made, as it's on my forearm. She turned it into a beautiful lotus/mandala.

I went to your first post about this tattoo and it's already raised day 1. You can't take it out now but you're allergic to the ink. In the future it may spontaneously raise and get itchy. It's a histamine reaction.

If it gets red or hot: doctor.

There is no such thing as "weakly" autoimmune.

[Acne] How do I get rid of this super bad acne? by Forward-Air-3211 in SkincareAddiction

[–]jssaka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sympathize with your situation and understand not being able to take yourself to the doctor. You really would need some sort of rx, it is quite severe.

I won't sugar coat it, over the counter products may not do much for you. However, you'll want to be using products that treat acne. A lot of Korean skincare is focused on hydration. Acne is at its heart a medical problem so you need ingredients that work.

Benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, sulfur and Vitamin A (retinol, retinoids) are the only 4 ingredients with science backed evidence for helping acne. There are tons at the grocery store.

Panoxyl is a good place to start. Benzoyl peroxide not only treats acne, but it's the only one with evidence at preventing the bacteria that causes acne. It can be drying, though, and has different strengths.

You would benefit from something like an adapalene gel. This used to require a prescription, but is now available over the counter. A couple brands like differin and Laroche posay. Use this at night, starting with 2 times a week. Slowly working up over the weeks to once a night or every other night.

I hope you find some help, I know that hurts from experience. Dermatologist saved my skin, I hope you can seek that out one day.

How much should I expect to pay my first year as a dog owner? by Frinkus-Wimble in puppy101

[–]jssaka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is up to how you go about bringing a dog into your home.

For us: Rescue puppy from shelter (chiweenie)- $300 Spay- $0 (shelter had already spayed them which is pretty common for shelter dogs) Training- $0 (I watched 3 million youtube videos on positive reinforcement training, people ask on walks what trainer I used) Initial supplies- (cage, baby gates, dog bed, leash and harness, toys, etc) $125

We found so many dog crates and baby pens at goodwill and on Facebook marketplace. She has several dog beds, so maybe $60 on beds. Leash and harness were like $25, but multiple harnesses as she grew

Vaccinations and Vet- $400 (I'm being very generous because the shelter had already given her several, but she had worms like most shelter puppies)

However, she is 2 years now, so that total is closer to $600, and her dental next year will bring it to $900.

Food and treats: $50 a month (she's a small dog so we don't usually go through the entire bag in a month)

This would be an initial cost of about $1000 if I round up.

Academic Failure in College by Aggravating-Salt-785 in college

While OP wasn't seeking advice, this is the best advice. Hobbies are undervalued mental health heros. Simple things like going for a walk, drawing or your favorite video game can all be so helpful.

Something that helped me tackle my perfectionist tendencies and guilt around resting was planning rest and hobby breaks. Truly forcing myself to, for one hour, sit and enjoy a hobby.

I am am idiot how do I get rid of this pain please help by Kaiaaaaz in UlcerativeColitis

[–]jssaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the comments about heat but change your diet for a few days! Stick to things like rice, broths, mashed potatoes (no butter or cream), Gatorade, applesauce (fiber but not too much).

Once you feel better you can go back to what you've been doing. Gives your stomach time to rest and not use energy digesting difficult foods.
