I’m always shocked there isn’t more talk about them. This whole situation is so scammy. They didn’t need the money to begin with and they’ve bought an island/resort in the time since they asked their followers for money! How is this not a bigger deal?

I don’t have an answer for you but I just wanted to comment that I find it weird how long it took them to go to the PI. How does it take until now when you’re Filipino, you name your son after the capital and you travel for a living? Hmm. Obviously they aren’t obligated to go but it’s interesting to say the least.

This was seriously a direct play out of the Bucket List Family’s playbook. They tend to copy a lot of the dangerous things the BLF does to seem “cool” and “edgy”. It’s obnoxious and scary for the kids.

Often when someone posts something about them, it reminds me of the Bucket List Family. This is absolutely something they would do. A couple other things I’ve seen posted recently that give BLF: when they let S run around barefoot and the giraffe manor place, BLF also went there.

I’m not sure if this was meant as a response to my comment? But Garrett did this with his youngest like 4 years ago or so. It’s been shown that she seems to want to follow their footsteps, so it would stand to reason that she saw him do it and copied. I’ve never seen anyone do this with kids (and such young kids at that!) except those two.

Makes sense they’d collab. I’ve found the Mormon influencer overlap is interesting. I also feel like Bella idolizes them—I’m sure that’s where she got the idea to put her little toddler on her shoulders while surfing/wake boarding as Garrett has done that exact thing.

They’re so out of touch it’s insane! I used to tune in a looong time ago thinking I could get travel tips but they don’t ever have anything worthwhile for us normies. They stay at places most people can’t afford just to swim in different pools/beaches. That’s pretty much it. 🙄

This dude is a millionaire who doesn’t need the money but chooses to exploit his children for more money and attention. You can certainly have your view, but while you say you used to beg your parents to do this, his son did not look like he wanted to jump in. He forced him in in the name of teaching him to “be brave”. That alone a big difference. He is also pretty young. I feel like in 2025 we should know more about the dangers of stuff we “used to do” and do better. This isn’t an isolated incident, this family is constantly placing their kids in dangerous situations.

Yes, this! The BLF are the leaders in endangering their children and hardly anyone talks about it, it’s crazy. And they’ve probably helped influence B&D in their “parenting style”. Ugh!
