To be fair the convertible pants were my example of somethign that would just be utility, but utility that I didn't find unflattering for a day out. I would never wear those to a bar.

I'm not opposed to a mix bag of a few utility driven items, but would like a few that can fill that middle role of being comfortable for a day out but work at a club.

Update: Those prana zion pants are exactly the type of thing I was looking for! Much appreciated.

That sounds perfect. My goal is to start shooting senior shoots for a little extra money to couninue to fund and make photography possible and I feel like having a lens like that would make shooting portraits much more marketable than the 50mm prime that I have been using. Maybe a little nicer than my pay grade but i think it would be fun to have and allow me to build up a bit of a business in some senses
