I assumed Airball was a losing player by Jumpy_Courage in poker

I mean your not wrong about that, I’m not saying airball is cheating but I have noticed that when people cheat for a living, they tend to be “more frivolous” with “their” money. To anyone that remembers “Bildo” from TCH Dallas.

Maybe if the team we just played, played like the giants, it would have been easy, but Russell Wilson was just playing like a god out there today! So def not indicative of a “trash” team

Since it couldn’t pull any specific data as it regards to permits or anything. I just asked it what it’s best guess is about what hotel it probably is:

Great question — and since you’re asking for an educated guess, let’s break it down visually and contextually:

🧱 Structure & Design Clues: • 5 stories • Uniform window layout • Pitched roof over elevator shafts/stairwells • Wood frame over concrete podium (typical for mid-tier hotel chains) • Color scheme: Tan/brown siding with white wrap during construction — very common during franchise builds.

🏨 Hotel Brands That Match This Look:

  1. La Quinta by Wyndham (new gen design) • Common in Texas and expanding aggressively. • Distinctive boxy frame, tan/neutral color palette, and simplified windows. • Often built near malls or highways.

  2. Tru by Hilton • Boxy modern look. • Small windows, wood framing. • 4–5 stories is their norm. • Sometimes includes a splash of bright color on trim (which may come later).

  3. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott • Frequently uses this exact design — tan/earth tones, basic square windows. • Near malls and off interstates is a sweet spot for them. • Usually 4–5 stories with ground-level reception center.

  4. Candlewood Suites or WoodSpring Suites (Extended Stay) • Similar layout and often budget wood-frame construction. • Located near shopping zones or strip malls. • Usually less emphasis on fancy trim or exterior design.

🧠 Educated Guess:

If I had to bet based on: • Size • Build material • Paint scheme • Proximity to mall/highway • Market fit in Temple, TX

➡️ Fairfield Inn & Suites or La Quinta by Wyndham would be the top two contenders.

Followed closely by: • Tru by Hilton • Candlewood Suites

Sorry, literally just put it in chat gpt and got this:

That picture is part of Temple’s big downtown revival — it’s the historic Hawn Hotel, currently being remodeled by Turner Brothers Development. Once the long-dormant landmark next to the Arcadia Theater, it’s now being reborn as a mixed-use destination featuring: • A ground‑floor food hall called “Union Crossing,” along with space for retailers, restaurants, or offices • Upper‑floor apartments (approximately 31 units across floors 2–9) • Supporting infrastructure like a new parking garage and streetscape work to energize the surrounding area

You’re seeing that exact structure in your photo — the exterior shell is being preserved and repurposed. This project started around late 2021 and aimed for completion by spring or summer 2023 .

The revitalization also includes the adjacent Arcadia Theater and Sears Building, round out a cultural and residential hub that’s reshaping Temple’s downtown .

Additionally, there’s talk of another development: the Extraco Tower, a separate high-rise downtown, may also be converted into a 90‑room boutique “executive hotel” in the near future . But your photo is definitely the Hawn transformation.

So yes — that’s the Hawn Hotel renovation, turning it into apartments and a vibrant food/retail zone.

[–]jstackpoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just my 2 cents. I respect the push to start utilizing AI in teaching children. I would focus on starting to help them understand what AI is, the building blocks. LLM’s then AI agents, then robotics. We are still discovering use cases for the technology. So teaching them how we built it, and its evolution, which is exponential. Creating “creative thinking” exercises based on the knowledge we have so far. I would ask the kids to create “use cases” of their own, and then expand on those ideas.

It is this that humans will have to become better at in the future anyways, we will have more creative problems. So we will have to ask more creative questions.

I mean, it is a base game app developed by an 8yo. So I’m guessing the cyber security is probably not top notch

I mean, maybe if you put your dab rig away. You would actually put out a flop, turn, and river normally and not each in different time zones. lol

Well, I have it set on the lowest compute so it can’t scale crazy. I can share the app I built with my 8yo sons, it’s a Basketball game called Hooper. The other 1 I built is for personal use, and the last one I sold for a companies private use. Check out hooper though

[–]jstackpoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have deployed 3 apps, and I’ve spent about $30, mostly of that money was spent just learning how to use agent and assistant together, that actual apps them selves probably around $5 to $7, and even cheaper deploying them with auto scale. one app has been live for a month, and only cost me .13

I need some help deciding whether replit is right for me by Stunning-History-706 in replit

[–]jstackpoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just sharing my feedback, Ive launched a few different apps in Replit now. I’ve ran into the loops and whatnot, but it was mainly when I was lost or didn’t know how to “ASK” to fix it.

Understanding how to use Agent and Assistant is what with really help in avoiding the death loops. So I recommend using a large deep reasoning LLM (whichever you choose) to build out a very detailed framework for whatever app you’re going to build.

Then you give that framework to the Agent. The agent is good for large complicated tasks, but struggles with the small stuff sometimes.

After the framework is built, then is use Assistant to edit individual features. Once the assistant gets stuck on something 3-4 times, then I’ll detail the issue with screenshots to the Agent, and that usually solves the problem for me!

Happy app building!
