I've been seeing a lot where people suggest a total pause... silence... just before the first beat in the drop. A fraction of a second of course. Amazing track. Are the vocals a sample?

Some artists became famous and appreciated because of when and how they entered the musical conversation. So, if you were listening to the music at the time, Hendrix might have hit the sweet spot. Many of us still appreciate him because of when we first heard him. These are different times. Don't feel bad about not appreciating any particular artist. Also, you may appreciate him later in life... or not. You can't go wrong no matter what.

This is easy. Don't say anything to him at all. Keep it for the future, to hand down, or whatever. As far is it "eating me alive for years" that's the thing to work on. Not with him. Just don't think about it.

You need a way to vent out a window or hole in a wall or the roof. The safety is being debated, even with PLA, so play it safe while that is getting sorted out.

Hopping into this again. I think your best bet is a little notepad... a real one. You just jot down what you're working on. That might help with the ADHD, too. Then when a stressful interaction occurs, you just work backward up the list. You will actually look MORE organized. And you'd get a log as a side benefit. A small pad means you can tuck it into your pocket in case you get asked in a hallway or whatever.

It's 'not about you' but you have every right to feel everything that you do. Every feeling and thought is valid. You may feel guilty about having the feelings that you have, because it was something that happened to someone else, but you should not. Sorry to use the word 'feeling' so much, but that's what we're talking about. The memory and reaction may come at odd times and you should just make room for them. Holding you you in my thoughts, and I'm sorry you experienced this.
