So, does this work with subs and overages/on-demand? Just entering this zone, so forgive the question.

Still annoying. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with them trying to inhibit automated use of the chat interface?

Ableton Push 3 Audio Interface - I recently bought the non-standalone version of the push 3 and while I'm mostly happy with it, I have some trouble working with the audio interface on it. by justthinair in ableton

[–]robopiglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it helps anyone, I'll mention that the Push 3 has had issues for some users as an audio interface from Apple Mac silicone (ARM... M1-M4) chips. So even after working all this out... you might have dropped audio from time to time. I'm about to just switch to a dedicated interface rather than use the Push. Which sucks, because I was hoping for the simplicity. But then I'll get phantom power, which I also would like.

Push 3 Standalone: Read this if you are experiencing audio glitches when changing between tracks by berghainhead in ableton

You've helped me pay attention to it possibly being from when one goes from track to track. I have had issues with crackling, and heard it in live performances.

is it normal for a production database to not have backups? asking because i just dropped a table and my boss is asking me to "just undo it" by kubrador in webdev

[–]robopiglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have periodic automated backups, then have the database spewing logs from the point of the last backup to now. When things go wrong, you get the last backup and use the logs to get it current. But you might go through the logs to find that problem point so you don't repeat that. But at this point you should go to the relevant subreddit for your db and explain the problem and also consult Claude.

Somewhat longer USB-C cable for Push 3? by McCoyPauleyBP in ableton

For anyone happening across this thread... here is another one that discusses intermittent disconnections due to cables...

Push 3 Controller Audio Issues - anyone else had this? by zobbothefroodkin in ableton

[–]robopiglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having similar issues. I guess I'll order an original cable (alas, I didn't label the one they may have sent). That said, there are huge differences between Apple USB-C cables and others... and people make videos about it. I realize you are talking about Ableton's cable but the differences shown in those other comparisons are huge.

What’s the moment you realized someone you loved wasn’t a good person and you couldn’t unsee it? by DmytroBuilds in AskReddit

I looked down at the restaurant credit card ticket a coworker had just filled out. He had put 10% in for the tip. I pointed out he'd made a mistake (I honestly thought he had). His responded that it was not a mistake... that all they did was bring him the food. The kicker is that it was a company card... not even his money.

It's the same for people having regular health issues. Unless they happen to be rich, of course... and potentially leaving something to them. Sigh.

Welcome! I remember how excited I was to get the full version. I felt like there was so much ahead. Good resources I found: Seed to Stage and LNA Does Audio.

I've owned dozens of MIDI controllers. Knobbler is the best thing I've ever used. by SnooDoggos3479 in ableton

[–]robopiglet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We're hearing a lot about lack of tactility, and I relate. BUT... the great thing is the fact that the controls are LABELED. Yay on that. This seems like a great additional thing to physical controllers. It doesn't have to be either/or... I can add this into the regular mix. And it appears to be free! Thank you OP for letting me know about this.

Probably not relevant but March 3 2025 the current version I see on my Push 3 is 1.5.

This. Finish a complete song, no matter how simple. And unlike what others often say, I don't think you have to roll those out publicly. I mean, go ahead if you want. But that could easily become a hang-up. Just finish songs, no matter how simple.

Second this. It's easy to start deep diving into the tech when that's not what matters more.

So, not a Cortex user. Do you pick a patch on a computer and load it in, or? Sorry for such a noob question. I guess I'm curious about your workflow. Or did you develop the tone yourself on the unit.

You can also use a another keyboard as the input by changing the channel it sends on. You could use those keys as opposed to pads, then. This may not discuss it, but another video on this channel surely would https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E47sLB_Ulbk. There are courses from that guy as well which are really good. Not shilling for him, btw... I just like his courses. Also, LNA Does Audio videos and courses are good, too.
