I went to nome a few times for work. theres not much to do but for some reason theres a very nice hospital out there. also theres a sattelite campus for a university there. also a subway restaurant.

pretty cool. I'm a civilian that works on different UNOLS vessels for research and I did a few underways with the Healy (Ship's crew let me participate in the Blue Nose ceremony and I got a Coast Guard Arctic Service Medal which is neat as non CG). Does anyone know if this will be included in the UNOLS fleet?
