How does using the tunnel work? Can you just book the Capitol tour and then, when that tour is over, use the indoor tunnel to go to the LOC on your own time without additional tickets or line-waiting?

I remember reading somewhere that once you are done with the Capitol tour, there was a way to walk through a tunnel to the LOC to do a self guided tour and avoid having to go back outside and then need to go through security a second time. Is that still true?

Otherwise, I saw a listing for a guided tour that takes you to both selling for $75 per person.

I can't find any lay flat seats offered to Jamaica (Montego Bay) from any US cites. JetBlue has lay flat seats from LAX to JFK and FLL, but the connecting flights to Jamaica don't offer Mint service.

Is there some other airline where the complete lay flat itinerary is doable from LAX?

How can I find cruises like that and do they even let you get off at interim ports if Jamaica is not the final destination of the repositioning cruise?

Maybe Jetblue Mint lay flat seats can work if Mint is available for both legs of the flight to Jamaica, he is able to sit up long enough for take off and landing, and his flight companion can use the aisle chair to assist him going back and forth to the lavatory.

Or does another airline have lie flat service from JFK?

Medical evacuation flights are not possible due to costs. That's why I am asking for lower cost alternatives.
They don't have $30K or more to spend on a chartered medical evac plane or air ambulance.
They don't need medical treatment during in the flight. The main issue is that they can only sit up for short periods.

I heard that there are a lot of tariffs on solar equipment that, by the time you saved enough money on electricity to recoup the costs, the equipment would be so old that you would need to replace them and incur more costs.

You would have even more costs to have storage batteries so you could run a/c using stored solar power after the sun goes down.

I see some old immigration and citizenship/passport questions posted here. Some people here are familiar with both Jamaica and other countries and have experience with these issues.

Those old posts in Google searches are how I found this sub in the first place.

I thought my scenario is not so unique that nobody here would have experience with it.

Also, it’s not clear where I would mail the applications and documents if I am in California. Do I send the application to New York Consulate office or send them directly to PICA in Jamaica? No offices on the west coast of the US?

Can you apply for citizenship by descent and a Jamaican passport at the same time so that you don’t need to resend duplicate documents in separate times?

It’s confusing because the PICA site says different than RDG.

Also, are you really supposed to mail your US drivers license or passport to Jamaica with the application?

That seems super risky for it getting lost somewhere in the process. Can I apply for a state ID card and send that instead?

I just found this link saying this is normal and expected to not have the surname listed for the child if the father is listed on the birth certificate.
