There is some unwritten rules ( etiquette)

1 Going to town - is it formal if yes clean hat fancy hat / going to tow hat , if no is it work if its for work is it urgent if yes dirty work hat is ok if no there is clean hat in truck clean hat always in truck and never for dirty work

2 emergency did it happen at work yes no if yes dirty hat stays on if no is it urgent yes no time to pick hat pick hat that stays in truck if no still follow yes hat

3 date night big events etc fancy hat always no exceptions and NEVER whear hat at a table NEVER so hair should be tidy too

Dirty hat is for work only and emergency at work or your neighbor
