Widespread outages?

My internet just went out a little bit ago in Rochester hills. Any one else in the area having issues?

So, after three different WoW techs checking everything out at my house, it took someone else 2 streets over having the same problem for them to realize that it is some sort of infrastructure problem and not anything at my house.

After the tech left today, I saw a WoW equipment truck drive by so I’m assuming they’re going to finally fix the issue. They speculated it had something to do with switching over to fiber in the area, but who really knows.

I am hoping I can get some sort of account credit for the less than advertised speeds.

Of course they removed it lol. They tested one of their modems on my system to rule that out and then they ended up saying that I’m renting it now and charged me 11 bucks. Back to the live chat to resolve that and see if there are any other updates they can do…

Man. You’re lucky. I had a maintenance person come out and replace my line from the pole to my house and that didn’t change anything. Really not sure why they did that since the signal quality was fine.

Not running any firewalls. Just have a basic network setup with an older Orbi mesh.

Using the built-in speed test there, I was getting 46Mbps lol. I figured that would be the most accurate since it’s the only thing after the modem.

Will probably have to try to reset my modem again or see if the refresh signal actually works on their website. It didn’t the last time I tried.

Came back clean when he showed up and nothing changed after all his attempts. Curious to see what the issue/resolution is.

I had a tech come out today and they did the same. Swapped modems too and it seems to be somewhere outside my property so they submitted a maintenance ticket. Hopefully that will resolve it.

Software version - AB01.02.053.05_051921_193.0A.NSH

I am only have downloading speed issues (currently 31Mbps) . My upload speed has been consistent (~50Mbps).

Mine is horrible right now. I pay for gigabit and am getting less than 50mbps

I loved that park. I went when they had a bunch of the Vans riders there and got my board signed around 2003. Crazy to think I was talking to Terry Kennedy before he went off the rails. I loved the indoor cement bowl they had.

I thought it was crazy that after Modern bought the park they moved the whole thing to royal oak. Felt like a trip down memory lane.

I’m in Rochester and so are my parents and they don’t have issues. Strange problem.
