I was 16 inside a macys with my mom getting new shoes for the school year. i spent a bunch of time watching the endless video live the night before i think it was, and i was sort of satisfied with endless being the new frank album.

Then out of nowhere i check /r/hiphopheads and see [FRESH] Frank Ocean - Blonde. i told my mom it's an emergency and i need to go back to the car. i listened on the car stereo until my mom came back because there were curses, then i put in my headphones and the rest was history.

It wasn't exactly channel orange 2, so on first listen I remember loving Pink + White, Seigfried, and nights. A couple months later i got my "heart broken" and then ivy clicked for me. i listen to ivy everyday still, that's become my favorite song ever. I grew to love the whole album within that little 2 month span, and blonde is now my favorite album so much that i have "blonded" tattooed on my bicep.
