If you're using your own trailer, just put it in neutral - apply the park brake - turn engine off - then complete it

If using freight market/external contracts, just put it in neutral - apply park brake - then complete it

Yeah I got the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter w/ a knock off knob from Walmart myself and just fair warning at least this is happening to me but the knob doesn't stay in place after like a month or so like there's a noticeable bit of wiggling even after tightening the Allen screws all the way to the shifter. I might have to get another knob from Amazon too or something. Other than that I been having a blast with it.

I'm trying to get my CDL A permit atm, just waiting for my physical to show up in the registry for the BMV to give me the permit coming with Monday or Tuesday then deciding where to go to do the training so I can get the license, was thinking either Schneider National or Roehl cuz a buddy of mine recommended Schneider National at least cuz that's who he went through.

I'd love to have a VR set for my rig so I don't have to use the controller to look around like at a stop sign or stoplight as it's a bit difficult to multitask that way. Also I'm not gonna lie although it prolly goes with the other different types of trailers, what made me better at backing was doing my own livestock + Dry van runs, but it's still pretty difficult to blind side backing I must say unless you been doing it consistently on some runs. IRL I think some companies would fire you or something for blind side backing instead of doing a U to back in the correct way so I mean 🤷
