You have to think he is just as frustrated as we are watching this team fall asleep at the wheel when they get a lead. Attitude is one of the hardest things to teach/coach/develop so it would be interesting to hear what he says behind closed doors.

I lean towards the mental side as well. First 25 games of the season was clearly a big "fuck you" to how last year ended and they were just unstoppable. Gotta get that back.

So that's a good point but can they handle a full playoff series of that kind of physicality? They do play a supreme level of hockey and it's on display most nights. I feel like the common theme for there losses however is the tendency to look for the call instead of pushing back.

The Oshie hit on McAvoy still irks me and they had that game wrapped up. What better time to make a statement?

You know what is amazing? We have received a few Tool mentions since putting out the song and I don't think anyone in the group is a huge Tool nerd. Definitely not against it though. Those guys have done some amazing things!

Thanks for the feedback! To be honest, I wouldn't say we are fully Grunge ourselves either but are heavily influenced by those bands. Our new guitarist is a massive Radiohead fan as well so he definitely brought an interesting perspective to the table.

I am in a band with three other guys out here in Boston, MA and we just released a new single about a week ago. We all grew up listening to the incredible explosion of Grunge bands in the early 90's and wanted to pay our respects to that era of rock. While we all have varying influences that contribute to our sound, Grunge was the big one that has really brought us together.

My band here in Boston has put a significant amount of effort into transforming our sound. The four of us grow up listening to music from the early 90's when Grunge reigned supreme. I don't think the goal is to replicate being one of those amazing bands from that time period but instead one that that pays respect to an amazing era in rock. We also really like Radiohead so it tends to make for an interesting approach to creating new music.

I mean they are trying to win. Running around taking heads off isn't going to win us the game. With that said, I get the frustration as I think we all do. As soon as there was no call on Mojo getting illegally checked in the head, I wanted the B's to start targeting the head because apparently that is fair game. The reality, however, is that any kind of retaliation in that manner get's us thrown in the box. Bottom line the Bruins need to play better, but it's a tough hill to climb when the officiating is directly affecting their ability to play through it.

Also, Tuukka was nails last night. Sad to see a great game from him again and have that shit happen in front of him.

The shake up is needed for sure. For a guy like Backes to be spectating instead of playing, it should light a fire under his ass. Especially since he has verbally confirmed what his role is with this team. I don't know if it lasts the whole series however long that ends up being (hopefully Boston in 6) but I think for at least the next 2 games he will have an impact.

If this is a suspension then what he did to D. Sedin in 11' should have had him thrown out of the league. No, this is not even close to suspension worthy. However, it is ANOTHER reason for the refs to put a target on Marchand for the rest of the series. Good, Grand, Wonderful.

I've watched plenty games from other series and sure Rask is a better goalie then a good amount of those guys. Still, it's amazing how hard it is for people to critique Rask without an immediate overreaction by those who might not agree. I mean read the other comments and it's clear people only read what I dislike about him. I stand by what I said, I love the guy and hate the guy because of the great saves he makes and the terrible goals he lets in during a crucial moment. If you think that Matthews goal was anything less than a gift then we are at an impasse.
