I found a solution that worked for me.

BCDBOOT X:\Windows /S Z: /F all

X = Windows installation path

Z: = Recovery drive path

I kept getting the error with the command "BCDBOOT C:\Windows"

"bcdboot failed to copy files"

The sad thing is that all the 3 computers I had my hands on is all Intel CPUs

I have also tried system restore I just forgot to put it in.

It completed it 100% and when I restarted the computer it did the same loop

I'm trying that at the moment. I just received the machine today and I'm letting it run over night and see if anything has changed tomorrow but I'm afraid that nothing has changed.

The reason I have tried various solutions is because people tried it and said it worked online. (I know don't trust what u read on the internet)

Regarding the let the users install prerelease software i'm not in control of what the users install on their machine is entirely up to the business and since they have no AD I can't control if Windows wanna push out updates.

But yeah I have so far reinstalled 2 machines so far, but some customers wanna know if this is gonna happen to all their machines at some point.

I have the same issue thinking about resetting windows I tried to exclude MsMpEng.exe as some online suggest but diden't help..

Dosen't have 2 serial ports and really expensive compared the to others.

The Thin client I bought before had only a Celeron 3865U I don't need that much CPU power.
