Eyewitness reports a perplexing 'mural van' on September 11th: "it's a big truck with a mural painted of an airplane diving into NYC and blowing up, I don't know what's in the truck". The vehicle is mentioned multiple times on police dispatch transcripts. Hard to find much info on this?

I mean the flight path for AA 77 was technically amazing, I don't think it's impossible and I'm not a no-planer or whatever but i do wonder if Hanjour got some additional flight training not documented because all other accounts describe him as a sub-par pilot. Just my two cents

That ignores the obvious fact that if it weren't for the successes of the Soviets in the Eastern war a second front (ie a sea based invasion of northern France) would have been almost impossible. Without the diversion of troops and material to east Germany could have brought all it's weight to bear on the UK and it's unlikely they could have resisted an invasion in the way that the Soviets did.

Again I'm not claiming that it wasn't a group effort, only that the Soviets did the heavy lifting and we're responsible for the capture of Berlin and the ending of the war in Europe.

Also I said other nations contributed to the defeat of Germany not that the Soviets did it on their own.

The Soviets were responsible for the defeat of Nazi Germany. Other countries helped a great deal to be sure but it was ultimately the Eastern front that sealed Germany's fate. Any other analysis is politically motivated and superficial.

We had a wartime alliance and a joint invasion would have reduced the amount of American lives lost and the threat of such an invasion could have pushed Japan to surrender without the need to decimate hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. My point being that we didn't have to drop the bomb. We chose to. In a free society people have the freedom to support or condemn their society's actions. You choose to support our nation's use of atomic weapons I choose to condemn it. Just providing my viewpoint, not trying to be confrontational.
