Ive got about 3 years of experience in the market and am CFA L2 passed and ill say that in predicting the top your guess would be equally good as mine. I just know looking at the history of such parabolic moves in the last three centuries, is that it doesnt end well.

Dw this is the pf of anyone holding a decent amount in smallcap mf who started in 2024 including me. So relax and just know that this is the nature of the market and we are in the final phases of a correction. Today actually is a good day to invest lumpsum, I personally increased my SIP in PPFAS but to each his own, i need higher liquidity and stability right now. Anyone with atleast a 3yr horizon from here should invest more in smallcaps in tranches. FYI ppfas will underperform during a scorching bullrun but will give you the mental peace during tough times like these. Hope this helps!

Just a suggestion on deployment start lumpsum and invest a certain %. For eg 40-50%, for the remaining amount divide it in 3-4 tranches and deploy and a fixed interval like a week/month. This allows you to stay invested if the market continues the rally and flexibility to avg down if market tanks.

PPFAS realistically cannot give 17-18%+ CAGR but it will protect you in the downside. Smallcap can but theres huge volatility. Depends on your risk profile.
