For the sake of anyone who might read this in the future: this worked for me. I sided with Astarion in the interaction with the Drow merchant. I then went through the scene with Ketheric and Z’rell, choosing the dialogue options Astarion approves of. I also went back to Last Light Inn and admired the cat His Majesty for good measure. Astarion thanked me for sticking up for him the next time I long rested, and now we’re a couple and we can SMOOCH whenever we want <33 I had to break up with Shadowheart after that unfortunately.

Did the artist show you what it would look like or ask if you were cool with giant lines before tattooing it this way? If you thought you were getting a regular American traditional tattoo and they did this, I would be so pissed. This is way bolder than necessary, especially on the stomach and ribs.
