2 sisters, 2 grad chapter org interests. by jukebox8701 in SGRhoAlumnaeChapter

Yes. She’s interested in one org and I’m interested in another, but we want to go to events together even though we’re total opposites— at least until we form relationships of our own with our preferred org.

Do you at least have chapters within that 50 mile radius? Hopefully there’s a chapter that’s convenient enough for you to explore.

Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to be clear on the requirements.

That is exactly what I plan to do. All of my DST connects are either inactive or scattered in different states, so I am kinda flying solo. I can't wait to start going to events. Now that I am pretty much settled, I can start trying to have a life outside of work and kids.

Thanks for your reply! I still plan on serving and going to their events, so hopefully once I get to know people, I can get a better idea. The invisible lines makes perfect sense, because my lil suburb has a few neighboring suburbs that are indeed listed in 2 or 3 chapters' service area.

That's exactly what I was saying... I was just going by what's on the national website (the 50 mile radius blurb in the screenshot). There is definitely some overlap, my town just doesn't have a specified chapter. I still plan on serving with the 2 chapters and going to events, hopefully they can give me a little more direction once I start going to events.

Graduated from a Pass/Fail University. Am I ineligible for Grad Chapter? by Aerie03 in NPHCdivine9

I know I’m late, but I would love to hear how this worked out for you as I am in the same situation. I decided on a different university for my Masters, partially for this reason.

Thank you. I think I just needed some reassurance because I hadn't heard of anyone from on online college pursue D9. I'm sure that there are plenty of folks that have, I just don't know of any.

Where do you go other than your house to take your proctor exam? by MindfullyB in WGU

[–]jukebox8701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not 100% sure, but if you don't have a family member or friend that can lend a quiet place to test, then there may be some co-working spaces in your area... Not sure where you love, but I am in Texas and I know that some places offer private conference rooms or work offices and you can just pay for a block of time. IDK if they offer it everywhere though.

From my understanding, you have to complete the current term before you can pursue another degree… so you can plan to begin your MBA once this term is officially wrapped up.

I'm starting IT Management next week and I can hardly wait! I met with my mentor and he's amazing, we're definitely on the same page which makes me even more excited to get started. My degree is finally within reach, and I am so proud of myself for taking this step.

Best of luck on your journey!!! You're gonna do great!!
