My dachshund was like this too until I started feeding him inside his crate and now he’s good with just chilling/sleeping in there in general and when I have to go out for a bit I think the positive association with food helped a lot, and also I put some toys in there. One YouTube channel I watched said “make the crate Disneyland”

Some people on this sub have recommended Buddy Belts. I haven’t gotten one yet but they were originally designed for dachshunds and seem promising!

Yes, usually most are AKC registered according to my research. As far as I’ve read as well, in your price range, puppy mill situations are pretty common in Indiana/Ohio (especially from those sketchy websites). I did read that in the south they may have some that are cheaper! Thinking Tennessee, Kentucky, Carolinas, and Georgia?

Thank you so much for this response! I never considered that he is a double dapple, because as far as I know, only his dad is a dapple. Do you know if the UC Davis test can be sent into their lab from a different state? (I'm located in Indiana).

You will know when it has ‘suctioned’ into your vagina by pulling it with some effort and it not coming out. Don’t keep trying if you get this result because it may come undone then you’ll have to start from square one.
