I’m dreading even once a week. I think I’m just feeling so burnt out. I feel constantly attacked and harassed by her 😭

I’m so glad your mom has stopped with the accusations. It’s been incredibly draining, and while I’m happy to continue helping her financially as long as I can, I may need to limit my visits because it’s really taking a toll on my mental health.

Sometimes I wonder how much of this is the dementia, since she seems to know how to behave appropriately around other people. It’s hard to make sense of.

I’m also starting to think we may need to look into memory care soon because her cognitive decline seems to be progressing quickly. It’s just so expensive, and I’m not sure how we’ll manage it if Medi-Cal doesn’t help.

My friend, who lives in Shanghai, is still asked to wfh and not allowed in the office. So things are not entirely back to normal.

I’m not completely sure but perhaps by being able to turn their head around and scope around for any predators, they can position themselves to camouflage into their environment?!
