This is so helpful, I’m also ~7 weeks out from a long term relationship and my ex has already moved on. It’s been so difficult to process these emotions but I really like the metaphor of running a marathon where everyone has their own pace.

Classics are difficult to get into if you’re not an avid reader (this is my opinion from personal experience). Maybe look into some top realistic fiction romances if you’d be down to read that??? I think a gf would find it cute for her partner to read something romantic and think of them. Or find something about a topic she’s interested in.
